The webmaster of TurkBUG.org, the Turkish BeOS Usergroup, sent in an EMail letting us know that the site is now back after a six month hiatus. It sounds like there are a lot of cool new and planned features, so head on over and check it out if you read Turkish – and even if you don’t, it’s worth it just for the very slick “Bootscreen” splashpage.
Read on if you’re interested in some details of what’s new with TurkBUG.org.
Here’s the scoop, courtesy of the TurkBUG.org webmaster:
The first (and AFAIK the only) BeOS Usergroup
in Turkey, TurkBUG found a new team for reporting news, translating/doing tests & wikis. We had a freeze of the site about 6 month because the team disappeared (too much work, private reasons etc. – you know the story).
One of the features of the new CMS is, that members are able to run their own (BeOS/Development) related Blog.
So check it out on: http://www.turkbug.org (you have to wait for the ‘bootscreen’ to complete, of course)
We also initiated a small but growing forum which works quite well: http://forum.turkbug.org
Both sites are maintained individually, so we can expect much more ‘uptime activity’ of TurkBUG somehow.
