In a recent flurry of Firefox updates on BeBits, new builds have been released for Zeta, BONE, and net_server. In addition to performance and stability improvements, the new build(s) introduce support for mice with horizontal scroll-wheels/buttons.
I’ve been using the new BONE build for a few days now and it does indeed feel a bit snappier/faster than the previous build. The improvements are most noticeable on complex/poorly-coded pages that would previously cause BeOS Firefox to become unresponsive and use 100% CPU for a few seconds before displaying.
